About Kevin Lester
My love for photography began in High School when I signed up for the yearbook class. I was given the opportunity to take and develop pictures for the yearbook and the local newspaper, covering High School athletic events. I was fascinated with capturing a moment in time and the ability to tell a story. Add to that, the creative licensing of developing my creations in a dark room, and I was hooked. After graduating High School, I joined the Army and spent the next 23 years in various assignments all over the world. Through both formal and self-study classes, I continued honing my skills. When I retired from active duty, I was able to focus on the things I love to do. The more I studied and practiced the art of photography, the more it made sense for me to start my own photography business. I am currently living out of my fifth wheel as I slowly explore North America. With my travels, I am given the opportunity to discover and capture many of God’s awe-inspiring creations along with some of Man’s great and unique innovations. I am currently working on artwork documentation, wildlife and landscape photography, portraits, and creating pop art from the pictures I take.
